Conversations with Liberty

I've said it once, I'll say it again. Liberty is quite the girl! Here are a couple recent conversations with her:

We were getting out of the car today in the garage and Liberty saw Trever's blue camping chair, which was folded up in a carrying case. She asked if it was Dad's sleeping bag. I told her, "No, it is Dad's blue chair." She said pointing at it, "No, that blue thing." (It didn't look like a chair to her folded up in the case) I told her, "It is Dad's camping chair. It's just folded up." She responded, "NO, this blue thing!" as she went over to it. As she was looking closely at it I told her to look at the picture on the case, so she could see what was inside the case. After seeing the picture she said, "It's not a CAMPING chair, it's Dad's FISHING chair!!!!"

On the way to the store today Liberty asked, "Where do you go camping?" I told her, "You can go camping lots of places, like in the mountains." She busted up laughing and said, "NO! You can't go camping in the mountains, that's where you go HIKING!!! You're just joking with me!!! You go CAMPING in the FOREST!!!!"

Love that girl! I think we better take her camping. Seems to be what's on her mind.
* Just thought of another funny thing she said today. We were at the store and she was carrying around a princess cell phone. I asked her if that's what she wanted for a prize. She said, "No, I changed my mind." So I said, "Okay, well then we better put it back on the shelf." She quickly obliged and we went a couple of aisles away. I started asking her what she wanted for a prize, but she couldn't think of anything. I told her we could look around some more. After a couple of minutes she announced, "I changed my mind, I want the princess phone." I said, "Okay, we better go back and find it." We started going down an aisle, and I quickly realized it wasn't the right one, and so did she. So we went down the next one and she immediately saw the phone sitting on the shelf and declared, "THERE IT IS! JUST WHAT I'VE ALWAYS WANTED!!!" It was only 3 minutes earlier that she so easily put it back on the shelf because that wasn't the prize she wanted. Silly girl!
