"T-tails," aka "ponytails," are one of Liberty's little obsessions. She loves to play with "Mamma's T-tails" and "Bibby's T-tails." Often times you will even see Liberty with a wristful of my hair rubberbands. (I wish I had a picture of it.) She also loves to hold handfuls of her own little rubberbands while I comb her hair. She likes to talk about which colors are which, or differentiate between "big-ones" or "baby-ones." A few weeks ago she woke up crying at about 1:30AM, and Trever went into her room to check on her. The first thing I heard her tell Trever over the baby monitor was "T-tails!" She was sobbing, and saying over and over, "T-tails, t-tails!" Of course, Trever had no idea what she was saying, but luckily I was able to translate, and found her stash of my "t-tails," and she quieted right down. I have no idea how or why she thought of that at 1:30 in the morning! If you're ever at our house on any given day, chances are you'll see several stray "t-tails." The best part, is that anytime Liberty finds a stash or a stray, she gets so excited and loves to share the great news with me. What a perfect example of "the simple things" in life.
Lately, I've been attempting "two-two t-tails" in Liberty's hair. She of course loves the idea, especially when I ask her, "Do you want two ponytails, like Megan?" Then we talk about all her friends and cousins who have two ponytails. It's always fun to see who she lists each time.
P.S. We're working on her smiles. If I tell her to "say cheese" she squints her eyes and makes a silly smile. Usually, I have to ask for her "pretty smile" and tell her "let me see your eyes." It's sometimes difficult to get a real smile out of her, as you can see. She sure is cute, though!

She is so cute. Her smiles are so cute. I can't wait until I can put t-tails in Camden's hair.
Crazy what four months can do! She looks and sounds so grown up! What cutie!
She is darling! I love her little pig tails. Hope things are going well for you in paradise! We miss you guys.
She looks so much older than when we saw you last! What a little sweetie!
i'm so glad you posted. i check every day you know. (as if we could not just call you to see what you are doing).
We would love to get together. Also, if nate gets a road bike he would love to go riding with Trevor.
Give us a call
I love the pictures of Liberty! Super cute! And btw, Rosy does the same thing with her rubberbands and mine. She's always got handfuls. Too cute! Are you guys back in AZ yet?
That is so cute! How do you get her to sit still to do her hair? Olivia moves around, and srceams ouchy every time I try to do a pony tail. I'm worried now that I'm going to have two girls I won't know how to do their hair!
I wonder where we will run into each other next? We should just plan a play date for the girls, now that you just live around the corner.
That is so precious! And I love that she calls them T-tails :) I usually have to chase my girls around to get a T-tail in their hair :P
Yay! I'm so glad you updated your blog! I love all the pictures. Libby is such a doll. I can't believe how long her hair is getting, and how grown up she looks. I hope you guys are doing well, and that Trevor is enjoying his rotations. We're loving Michigan. How are you feeling these days? You're due middle of Nov right? How exctiting!
She is adorbable!
Loving the t-tails. I wish Jocelyn would even let me touch her hair. She is not even 1 yet and she hates getting her hair done. She pushes my hand away before I can even get it close to her head. She always knows what is coming. Liberty is too stinking cute. I love those special moments too. Let me know next time you have a play date.
Hey Katie! I don't think I ever got you e-mail so I can invite you to my blog! lindseyslads@cox.net
Miss Liberty is ADORABLE as always and she is getting so big!
Libby is so cut & Ican't believe how grown up she looks from when you guys left. I finally started a blog www.familyhorsinaround.blogspot.com We miss you guys.
What a cute girl! Isn't it amazing how easily entertained kids are? Jonah's current favorite toy is my water bottle.
