Today Hadley told me that her baby had "poo-poo's." Coincidentally, Hadley had a poopy diaper at the same time. I laid them both down on changing pads and changed Hadley's diaper. Then I let her wipe her baby's bum, and she helped me put a diaper on her baby. Later in the day she told me again that her baby had "poo-poo's" and she proceeded to change her baby's diaper, even putting the wipes she used inside the "dirty" diaper and folding it up like we do when we change her and Bowen's diapers. She wasn't too happy when I wanted her to put the same "dirty" diaper back on her baby, so she went and got panties for her baby.
Hadley has been taking care of her baby quite a bit the last few days. She has been feeding her bottles, wrapping her up in blankets and saying her baby is sleeping, and like I said, changing her diaper.

Pink Boots
Here are the girls sporting their new boots. I thought it was going to be a super cute picture, until Hadley insisted she wear her hood, and then wouldn't cooperate. Still cute, but note quite what I expected.

Trunk-or-Treat
On Saturday night we went the tri-ward Trunk-or-Treat. Trever passed out candy while I took the kids around to get candy. Liberty was excited to go around and get candy, of course. Hadley quickly realized all she had to say was "trick-or-treat!" to get candy, and was loving every second of it! Liberty and Hadley were both pretty intrigued by everything going on, so it took quite the effort to get them to move from trunk to trunk. Bowen was he usually easy-going self and enjoyed the festivities.

Hadley & Tayson
This is a typical Hadley and Tayson conversation. Hadley feels like she has to bend over and talk to Tayson face-to-face. It is pretty funny.
It was quite cold that night, so the girls had to wear leggings and long-sleeved shirts underneath their fairy costumes. Luckily some of our friends brought their portable firepit, so we were able to keep warm.

You know you live in the desert....
He put a magazine down on the ground and had it climb onto it. I took a couple of pictures of Trever holding it, and it crawled off the magazine and started running away. This time it was moving fast! Of course, I freaked out again, but Trever was able to get it again, and I made him put it into a jar. Trever thought it was such a "cool" creature, and wanted to set it free in the wild again. I wasn't too fond of the idea, but he took it "down the street" (which was actually only one house away) and let it loose. He wasn't sure if it survived his handling of it or not.
After that we sat around reaccounting what had just happened, and trying to figure out how the heck it got into our house! I had some friends over that day for a few hours, and all of our kids were playing, going in and out the back door, so the door was left open quite a bit of the afternoon. We're guessing it snuck in during that time. I don't know how we missed seeing it come in because we were sitting at the kitchen table crafting most of the time, which is right by the back door. But, that is our only explanation of how it got into our house. If that is how it got in, I can't believe we didn't see it until several hours later!

Trever's Hobbies
I have told Trever that he can't have anymore hobbies, because he doesn't have the time or money to keep up with the many he already has. Surprise, surprise, he doesn't listen :)
Ever since Trever shot my dad's pellet gun, he has wanted his own. He finally bought one, and has been enjoying shooting it in our backyard. Our backyard is huge, and it's pretty much like going out to the dessert. Liberty enjoys shooting guns with Dad. They have a target set up, and take turns trying to get a bullseye.
Liberty adds her girly touch to the shooting range by collecting flowers for Dad.
Anytime Trever has the girls come outside, he tells them to put long-sleeved shirts, pants, and a hat for protection from the sun. Liberty decided that her gymnastics leggings were good shooting pants. She's adorable!.jpg)
Liberty's stick "violin"
Another new hobby Trever has picked up, which has been a huge dream for him, is spear fishing. Last time we were in Mesa to visit, he bought a snorkel set for a good deal, hoping his new friend here really followed through with "I'll have to take you spear fishing sometime." Trever's dream finally came true, and Jeremiah invited him! They went fishing near Bullhead City in the Colorado River, and Trever loved it. He loved it so much, that he even bought himself a spear recently. Add another hobby to his list!

Bowen - 3 months
Bowen is 3 months old! Part of me feels like time has flown by, but another part of me feels like Bowen has been with us for so long! Although sometimes it seems like he was born just yesterday, so much has changed since he joined our family! Trever has a new job, we have a new house, live in a new city, and have a new baby! These are some major changes all happening at once! We love Bowen to pieces, and love having a baby boy in our family. Liberty still tells Heavenly Father every time she prays, "We're thankful that Bowen's out of Mom's tummy." Bowen is such a good baby, which is such a huge blessing! He officially graduated from sleeping in his swing, and surprisingly is sleeping very well in his bed. He is typically sleeping 8-10 hours at night, then goes back to sleep for an hour or two after being fed. I can't complain about that! He still needs to be a little more consistent with his napping, but I'll take what I can get. The biggest reason for ditching the swing is his torticollis, which he has had since shortly after his birth. We have been pretty stressed and worried about it, so we thought we'd try not using his swing. Just in the week-plus of not using the swing, the torticollis has improved drastically! We are so happy about that! Hopefully it continues to improve and he won't have any lasting effects.
We love to see Bowen's smile, and can even get him to laugh at times. He definitely recognizes his parents and sisters, and gets excited to see all of us. He is still spitting up a lot, but obviously is still getting plenty to eat! He's our little chubba-wubba. We love our Bo-Bo!
Here he is on his 3-month birthday.
Anytime I get the camera out to take pictures of Bowen, Hadley or Liberty - or both - has to join in the picture-taking.
