Spring Hike

Trever had the week off, and one of his special requests was to take a family hike. We hiked the Hieroglyphics Trail out by Gold Canyon. The weather was perfect, and we even had a lot of clouds during the hike! It was so green and the desert flowers were blooming - it was beautiful! Liberty especially loved the flowers and cactus. Liberty did great hiking on her own most of the time, and only complained of being sweaty (just wait until summer, girl!). Trever carried Hadley in the front pack most of the way. She handled it pretty well, but got tired of it after awhile. We didn't quite make it to the end of the hike because the little girls were getting tired, but we hiked for about 2 hours! Not bad for a 3- and 1-year old. Liberty did say she didn't want to go back to that hike until she was 4 though!

Beautiful pics! It is lovely out there right now. Wish we could have gone with you guys!

I'll have to either post or send you some pics I took of Liberty and Haylee the other day. They had a good time together checking out reptiles and birds and all the wildlife. They were very brave!

I keep forgetting you're having another baby! I don't think I knew until a couple of months ago. How fun to be having a boy! I'd be glad to let you know if I come across some good furniture deals- just let me know what you're looking for!

so. second comment on your post. I was looking at your HUGE glasses. They are great by the way- and you look so cute. I have HUGE glasses too. When our kids are older they are going to laugh at how we used to wear HUGE glasses...then they will come back in style again and they will wear them too.

Looks like a lot of FUN! It is so fun when you're able to do things as a family & the guys have time off! You all look so cute! Makena had so much fun with your girls the other day! She just keeps talking about playing with them & telling Brooklyn all about them & how old they are!
