We took Liberty swimming for the first time on Saturday. It took her about a minute to figure out what was going on... and then came the splashes! She splashed and splashed with her hands for probably 30 minutes straight. She didn't even care that she was splashing her face. She absolutely loved it! She even figured out how to kick when I put her on her tummy and walked around. We even tried out the kickboard. I think she'll be a great swimmer. We'll have to take a mom and baby swim class soon. We are going to be doing a lot of swimming this summer. We can't wait for the outdoor pool to open up here!

Oh how fun!! I'm so glad Libby likes swimming! Babies either cry or have a blast on their first swim. I'm glad it was the latter for Liberty! She is such a fun & happy baby!! Love the swimsuit...very fitting for "Liberty"! Speaking of...I saw in a really cute onesie for 4th of July in Target that had a "Lady Liberty" on it. I thought of Liberty Wilkins. :o)

Okay, I am cracking up laughing Katie! First, at how you're squinting your eyes while Libby is splashing, and secondly, how much fun Libby is having! I remember when my little sister Karlee was a baby (which wasn't THAT long ago), she splashed, and splashed and splashed, it was sooo cute! You'll have to put some of your YMCA lifeguard training into action and teach Libbers a thing or two! I can't wait for you to come down again this summer, i miss you already!
Thanks girls. My suit is from Layers clothing - last year. I love it - it's long and has some padding. I'm sure the ones this season are just as great. We're coming to AZ June 10-July 18. Can't wait!

Such a cute video. I love it. Libby is getting so big so fast. I love this age when they change so much every day. Every time you turn around they are doing something new. Too cute!!
Libby looks like such a fun baby!! She is always smiling and laughing, she cracks me up on all your videos. Maybe when you come down we can all get together with our babes. I'd love to see you and meet little Liberty. :)
