Liberty turned 18 months on Saturday! She is at such a fun age right now! She has such a fun personality – she is always making us laugh with the things she comes up with. She is getting good at communicating with us, and definitely knows what she wants! Some of her favorite things are: her blankies, her drinkies, puzzles, animals (as long as they’re not too close), fishing with Dad, dancing, making messes, reading books, singing songs, playing outside, going down slides, throwing rocks, picking dandelions and blowing on them, playing with her friends, running (she rarely walks), shoes (her own and anyone else’s), babies, flowers, chasing “hop-hops” and “tweet-tweets”, eating, bubbles, giving kisses, and hanging out with Mom and Dad.
For her 18-month birthday she got a Barbie Fishing pole and participated in a fishing tournament with Dad. (I was a spectator.) Liberty even caught a fish with her Barbie pole – with a little help from Dad. She loves to see the fish, and then say “bye-bye” when Trever throws them back in. She even surprised us and got courageous enough to touch a fish this time! After we went fishing we went to a little safety “fair” put on by the county. They were giving free pony rides, which we thought Liberty might like. Surprise, surprise, she just wanted to look! Trever put her on a pony for a minute, but she did not want to ride!
Later on that day we got family pictures and Liberty’s 18-month pictures taken by our wonderful photographer friend, Jessica. Liberty was pretty silly during the shoot, but she thought she was hilarious! She sure looked cute, though!
Afterwards we were starving so we hit up Pancake City (all you Kirksville friends can laugh now). For some reason, breakfast sounded good to me! Trever got the “I’m starving man!” meal, which I pretty much some of everything, I got apple cinnamon pancakes, and Liberty got French toast sticks and eggs. We had a great time!

Trever looks really manly holding the fishing pole.
