Kingman

We finally made it to Kingman (permanently) on Thursday, July 8th. For the first several days, we were cooped up in the house for the most part. Trever was working a lot since we got here, we didn't know anyone to do anything with, and having a newborn kept us home a lot. We slowly unpacked boxes and organized our stuff quite a bit the first few days, and the girls spent a lot of time playing and making messes. The girls also spent a lot of time in their pajamas with messy hair, in outfits they picked out themselves, which were often swimming suits, or half of the time they were "nake-nake" in diapers and panties. Hadley slept in a swimming suit for over a week straight. I'd tell her to pick out pajamas, and she'd come back with a swimming suit. She would then change into and out of swimsuits throughout the day. Whatever makes her happy! Luckily, we finally found some very nice friends who invite us over to go swimming, so she gets to actually swim in her suits! We have also gotten more into a routine (sort of), so we actually get dressed, comb hair, and get out and go places!

Here are some photos of our in-house days:

Trever works 12 hour shifts, which turn out to be more like 13-14 hour shifts, which means he often misses dinner time and the whole bedtime routine. It has definitely been an adjustment, but we are getting used to it. Plus, it helps us appreciate his days off a LOT!

Bowen will usually be content in this little chair long enough for me to make lunch and dinner, which has been really nice!

The bar in the kitchen is super-high, and our barstools aren't tall enough for it. So, back to eating at the kitchen table. It's been awhile!

Sometimes, the girls have played together SO well, and it's so fun to just watch them play. However, there are definitely times when they don't get along. They seem to fight the most while I am feeding Bowen! But, I must mention, Liberty has been such a good helper, and has really learned how to be more patient and be a good example to Hadley. I am so greatful to have her!

Bowen's right eye is a little weak, and he often does his little wink, or likes to just peak out of one eye.

One day, Hadley put these little Mr. Potato Head glasses on and wore them while she played as if everything was normal. I wonder if she got the idea from seeing Liberty wear glasses. It was hilarious how serious she was about it!
I hate putting away the empty boxes when they have so much fun with them!
Anytime I put Bowen down, Liberty and Hadley both like to take care of him.
Liberty is our little performer! She has such an amazing imagination, too!
