I've been wanting to buy an air popper for a long time now, but just never had. Lately I have heard and read that studies are saying that the lining of the bag in microwave popcorn "may" cause cancer. I don't think we eat nearly enough microwave popcorn for this to affect us, but I used it as an excuse to buy an air popper. Since Trever has been working a lot, I try to do little activities to excite the girls a little. So tonight we popped some popcorn in our new air popper. Both Liberty and Hadley wanted to sit on the counter and watch the corn pop. They both just stared at the kernels for the first couple of minutes, until the corn popped. Hadley was totally excited and "ooo-ed, and ahh-ed" at the sight of the popped corn piling into the bowl. Liberty was pretty intrigued too. They thought it was hilarious when a couple shot up at me! They took turns seasoning it with "ch-ch-ch" (ranch flavoring). I gave them both a bowl that was way too big (they're spoiled), a sippy cup with water, and let them watch Strawberry Shortcake while I put Bowen to bed. We'll probably be making popcorn more often!

We used to have an air popper when I was a little kid, it was my favorite! I should look into one of those if it is that entertaining.
awwww! miss those little munchkins. we love our air popper...for some reason it's so much funner for kids. and it is healthier too :o) miss you Katie...let's get the hubbies planning a trip!
So cute & FUN! Makena is asking me when we can come to your house! I was just thinking the other day how said my kids have never seen an air pooper pop popcorn! This looks like a lot of FUn! To bad Trever is working a lot!
