Santa

We took Liberty to see Santa on Saturday. She was terrified of him! The second she saw him she started crying and trembling! It was so sad. We tried everything to get her to calm down, to no avail. As soon as she would stop crying, she'd see him again and her bottom lip came right out and she began to cry again. There was a photographer taking pictures, so we'll see how the picture turned out - I had to hold her standing next to Santa.

What is it with kids being afraid of Santa? My only guess is that maybe the fact that they really can't see much more than his nose and eyes, which scares them. We have 2 more things going on this week where Santa will be, so we'll see if she gets used to him.

Liberty did look really cute for Santa!

Calvin loves Santa... every time we pass him in the mall he waves and yells hi. Kai on the other hand is totally afraid. He won't even look at him. Too funny.

PS- My boys enjoyed watching the laughing video.

Same thing happened to my niece. I totally understand it. Stranger with too much facial hair gives me the heebee geebees too. She'll get over it. Give her a few years and she'll be begging you to stand in line!
